Reception

Write or Wroy has had mostly positive reviews. Some critics have said it is self indulging and lacks true heartfelt conviction. Others have called it “fluff” that never really goes anywhere. Proponents have called it, “the last great human-only blog” and “… for those who get it, it is a masterpiece of stoicism, culturalism, and what it means to be human…”. Although the blog ended in May 2026, debate is ongoing on the impact and influence that this ground breaking blog has brought to the world.

The End

”Like all things in life, everything comes to an end.” Roy G. Mundheim wrote his final Write or Wroy blog post in May 2026. He called it a “very difficult decision” when he ended Write or Wroy exactly 10 years after the very first blog post. He cited changing priorities, seeking new challenges, and that “the time had come” as to why he ended Write or Wroy. He ended every post with a joke or two but in his final post, there was no joke. Instead, Roy left the following message:

Thank you to everyone who read my blog over the last ten years. It’s been a ride. I really appreciate everyone who read a post, a couple posts, or followed along for entire journey. It was so amazing to read all the feedback, emails, social media posts, and even face to face encouragement over the years. I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to share a little bit of lunacy, weirdness, and fun with all of you. Keep reading. Keep critiquing… and don’t take it all so seriously. There’s no god or gods. “We’re mites on a plum” in the middle of something so big that our brains can’t even comprehend it. So, let’s just Enjoy! Cheers.
